Blood tests can reveal the concentration of uric acid in your system. However, while you are under an attack your blood could potentially read quite normal. Over 60% of patients presenting with acute gouty arthritis symptoms have uric acid levels of <8mg/dl. Measuring serum uric acid levels while under an attack may not be too helpful in a diagnostic sense. Why? The crystals relentlessly jabbing at your joints are NOT in a soluble form at that time.
Conversely, when someone begins taking a successful all natural product, the blood levels can actually rise as the body begins releasing storage it was previously unable to process and excrete. While you wouldn't want those levels to remain high forever -- an initial, true cleansing could actually yield deceptively high serum blood results. Our herbal blends can undoubtedly rid your body of excess uric acid and stop it from crystallizing. Following our program and taking our herbal blend(s) can allow your blood levels to decrease over time AND your pain from the crystallized uric acid will be a thing of the past.

Results: Normal serum uric acid levels were found in 63.3% of the patients with acute gout attack. The inflammatory syndrome was detected in 76.6% of patients with high erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) levels and in 30% of patients who had elevated C-reactive protein levels. The urinary excretion of uric acid was measured in 11 patients and it was found increased in 55% of them.
Conclusions: The diagnosis of acute gout attack should not be excluded in the presence of normal serum uric acid levels if the clinical manifestations or the positive response at colchicine are suggestive of gout. The low uric acid level is correlated with increased inflammatory factors and urinary excretion of uric acid.
